Mylo - Destroy Rock & Roll (2004)

So who is Mylo? I'm not sure I've ever heard of him/her/them. But the idea that anyone in 2004 thought they could destroy rock and roll, despite decades of failure by others, is quite audacious of Mylo. Just please don't be rap or dance. I'll even take country if it means I don't have to listen to rap or dance.

Arcade Fire - Funeral (2004)

First up in my Arcade Fire list is Funeral. Catchy title.

The Streets - A Grand Don't Come For Free (2004)

It's all too clear to me. Hip-hop and rap really do strive to destroy all music. A Grand Don't Come For Free opens with bombastic brass orchestration which is hacked up and pasted together to fit the song's beat. The editor must have been using a cassette tape and a pair of scissors to do such a shitty job pasting this together. It only took 5 seconds for this album to send me off into another angry rant.
