Deep Purple - Machine Head (1972)

Been too long. At this rate I'll get done with my list of albums in about 20 years. Anyhoo, Machine Head. It's a'ight. The album rocks pretty hard, and if you like crunchy, early heavy metal you should own this album. There's also a psychadelic rock angle to the album, as it is heavily laced with hammond organ, distortion, and long instrumentals. For me Deep Purple works better one song at a time. The sound is too consistent from one song to the next and the album gets kinda boring. 3 stars.
