Sigh... I didn't like it. The problem I have is that I can't really say why. It's not like U2 makes bad music. I guess they just don't make music for me. Maybe it's Bono. He can certainly sing, but there's nothing particularly interesting about his voice. Maybe it's The Edge. You'd think a guitar player with a nickname like "The Edge" would be... I don't know, edgier? But U2 seems like any other boring bright and sunny band. That and somehow they composed a song with a melotron and fucked it up. I love the melotron sound. I didn't realize it could be used so poorly. 2 stars- turns out I do know why I didn't like it.
