Listened to Ramones by the Ramones just now. I can understand why people who had kids in the 80's (and therefore came to age in the 50's, 60's, and 70's) might say to their kids, "Turn that crap off!" Time has not been kind to this album. It basically sounds like any number of shitty untalented high school bands that know five power chords. Maybe their other stuff is better, but 1-star. Still glad I heard it because the Ramones are one of those bands I knew I should be tangentially familiar with.
