Continued my quest tonight with Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes... at least that's what their myspace page says. That's right, there are still people with myspace accounts. Anyway, they are an indie folk rock band. That sentence is as interesting as the album gets. The songs have varying melodies but still manage to sound exactly the same. If they were looking for an echoey folksy sound they certainly nailed it. It really speaks poorly if the longer an album goes on the longer it gets. The dudes in the band do have sweet if boring voices. To be fair it's their debut album, so there's plenty of room to expand. 2 stars.
